Cannes Collection showcase 2016
The idea of the founders of the “Cannes Collection showcase” (Bertrand Foäche and Eric de Saintdo) was simple ; bring together in a single place (the old port of Cannes), the world’s finest, most desirable objects were all on display in this perfect setting (yachts, luxurious cars, helicopters, watches, works of art, …).
For this first edition, from the 2nd – 5th of june 2016, the organizers trusted us for all the food and beverage part.
We took up the challenge and put all our expertise in it.
The temporary restaurant : “Le show des Toqués”
Our first challenge was to develop a concept for the showcase restaurant and then to make it a working success.
A cool and turquoise nest with enough space to seat 80 guests in comfort, facing the port, allowed us to offer a gourmet break to the “Cannes Collection showcase” exhibitors and visitors.
Hugo and his legendary smile welcomed the customers and showed them to their table. A team of 5 waiters then took care of them.
The menu: An “all you can eat” prestigious buffet with a list of selected wines to accompany your meal. To entertain our guests, we also included haute cuisine cookery demonstrations.
Romain (still “cool and classy”) was our barman, at the ready with great ideas for soft drinks, wine and Champagne (Perrier Jouët “Belle Epoque”). Of course, our elegant cocktails were also popular, from the classical to ourbespoke creations.
The breathtaking view on the Cannes bay made the terrace a perfect place to enjoy a cocktail and have a snack. Sinking into designer couches from Ethimo with the bubbly Ben taking care of them, our guests felt they were in a world apart.
Our restaurant delivered to the exhibition stands throughout the day. This allowed the exhibitors to spoil their staff with our culinary treats and welcome their customers without interruption.

Possibly our most ostentatious challenge was our VIP lounge. With our head waitress Marie as hostess, the lounge restaurant provided food and drinks in partnership with Perrier Jouët “Belle époque”.
Saturday gala evening
The evening gala for the Womanity foundation (Dedicated to promoting women’s and girl’s rights the world over) was a real success.
Our chefs, Sendrine and Adrien surpassed themselves to offer a dream performance to the 400 prestigious and generous donors.
In addition to a royal buffet, our couple of chefs realised a live cooking show with flamed prawns with pastis or snacked foie gras on ginger bread…. (the duck breast with chorizo and cream, yumm…)
Romain and Matthieu made it all happen on the cocktail and Champagne bar, surrounded by a live music show.
